Subject: American Health vs. Means Siblings and the DiSSS Framework
Hello All!
Welcome to this week’s Letter, where you can read about 3 things I’ve thought about in the last 7 days.
3 Things From Me
An Acronym:
DiSSS (credit: Tim Ferriss) is an acronym that can be used to learn just about anything quickly and effectively.
Deconstruction, Selection, Sequencing, and Stakes:
- Deconstruct the skill into it’s smallest parts — the building blocks.
- Selection involves identifying the critical pieces that will yield the desired outcome.
- Sequencing is ordering those units logically.
- Stakes are consequences, positive or negative, to increase .
A Name:
“Ndyisi Na Ndimanya” – I don’t know and I wouldn’t know.
This is a Kenyan name, from the Kamba tribe. It was given to a man who used this as his response to inquiries about village gossip. The rest of the village knew that he took no part in spreading rumors and respected him for it.
A Podcast:
Calley and Casey Means on the Tucker Carlson Show
Calley and Casey are a brother-sister duo fighting the corrupt organizations that are responsible for destroying American health. Tucker isn’t my favorite host, but some of the facts and statistics dropped by the Means siblings were mind-blowing. It’s a long one, but definitely worth listening.
Peace,
Jacob Lipke
